In the lead: Three new supervisors will watch over the multiple disciplines that Ayres’ 32-person Stream & Stormwater Group specializes in. Dusty Robinson, Dale Mathison, and Dylan Armstrong are PEs who started their careers at Ayres. Respectively, they will supervise the river systems health discipline, the SUE and survey discipline, and the drainage and stormwater discipline. These supervisors bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the job, and their leadership will undoubtedly enhance the Stream & Stormwater Group’s capabilities. Congratulations Dusty, Dale, and Dylan! #ChallengeSupportRecognize

As we honor Earth Day, Ayres stands tall as a stalwart advocate for sustainability and environmental awareness. Our commitment to a greener planet shines through in our projects, including the East Columbus Drive project in Tampa, FL – which incorporated an innovative resiliency component: tree wells. (Read more here! https://joom.ag/CWqd/p10) Also known as stormwater trees, these ingenious structures harness the power of water runoff from streets and sidewalks. By channeling this precious resource, we create a nurturing environment for trees to thrive. Why do they matter? They provide shade for pedestrians. Stormwater trees provide cooling shade for passersby, making a city more comfortable and inviting. They provide urban greenery. They combat the concrete jungle, infusing our neighborhoods with life and vitality. They also provide great water management. Stormwater trees ingeniously capture runoff water, preventing it from overwhelming storm drains. It’s a win-win: trees flourish, and the city stays dry during heavy rains. #EarthDay #Sustainability #SmartCreativeSolutions #AyresCares

The City of Chippewa Falls, WI, is moving ahead with Phase 2 of its upgrades for Flag Hill Park, including an inclusive playground and the replacement of stairs connecting Flag Hill Park to the Irvine Park Zoo and Visitor Center. The improvements began with Ayres’ 2019 Flag Hill master plan, followed by design services for a new warming house/restroom/pavilion constructed in 2022.

Unofficial Ayres Mascots: When our Green Bay, WI, area staff of 56 experts moved to their new location near Lambeau Field two weeks ago, a welcoming committee of two resident groundhogs quickly caught their attention. Staff quickly held a vote to name the cheeky critters, and they’ll be known henceforth as Owen and Ayres in honor of our firm’s late founder, Owen Ayres.
