Event Description: The Northwinds British Brass Band Holiday Concert will feature festive and joyous music of the season.  We are pleased to announce that the amazing and talented Bill Simon of Eau Claire has generously arranged a fun rendition of “Frosty the Snowman” for our group. This year’s concert will cover a wide range of styles from rock, jazz, pop, and orchestral fanfares to lullabies, and hymn tunes.  Some of the literature included in the concert will be Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man,” an entertaining arrangement of “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” an arrangement of F. Melius Christiansen’s “Lullaby on Christmas Eve,” “Fantasy of the Bells” based on the Ukrainian Bell Carol, the ever popular “Deck the Halls,” and “Christmas Triptych” bringing the listener settings of “Westminster Carol’” “Joy to the World,” “Silent Night,” “Coventry Carol,” and “Good King Wenceslas.” Admission - Adult $9.00, Senior $8.00 Youth( under the age of 18) Free
