    • Q:

This might be a dumb question considering this is a drinking-related venue, but are kids allowed on the premises (i.e. on the patio)? We're visiting from out of state and will have a few small kids with us.

      A:

Yes! We brought our son and there were other kids on the patio. Not sure about the tour specifically, but definitely allowed in the lodge.

Very friendly, clean. Great beers to try. Plenty to chose from shopping wise. Happy there is more tables to sit at.

I've been a fan of Leinenkugel's for a long time and this was a bucket list stop. What a fun place! We had a great tour guide, Hannah. The inside of the lodge is a great place to hang out and try some amazing beers. The pretzels and the "spicy" mustard are a must do, to go along with your beer sampling. Everyone here seems to enjoy their jobs and gave great service. I look forward to going back soon!

Driving from MN to see family in WI we had to stop at the Leinie Lodge

"Inspired by Jacob Leinenkugel's cabin, the Lodge is a space for guests to enjoy great company and delicious beer."

You can even take a brewery tour to get the behind a scenes look! There are 5 tour options to choose from ranging from 1-1.5 hours

Beer is on point, the patio is really nice, and the employees are friendly. What more could you ask for?!

This will become tradition to stop here moving forward!

This place was packed on a late September Saturday. Some people, like us, were there to do a full tour, while others were just enjoying a drink. There were also many high school seniors dressed up to take photographs outside and indoors--this is quite the local landmark.

The lodge itself is large, containing an extensive bar, sitting area, merchandise shop, and patio. A short walk across the bridge is the actual brewery. Our tour guide was great. We were never bored on the hour-plus tour as we learned about Leinenkugel family history, local history and the evolution of the brewery, and the science of beer making. The tour was family friendly, as there were several kids along. The adult tour price includes tickets for flight-sized beers back at the lodge, which can be redeemed before or after the tour. I'm not a big beer fan, but I really enjoyed myself here.

Your quintessential tourist brewery. I only ever knew them for their shandy but their lagers are actually very good. Definitely get the peach beer if they have it.

They offer a lot of tours and their taproom is a glorified gift shop. The service was excellent and if we're in the area I would 100% stop in again. The taproom isn't dog friendly and can get pretty crowded but their patio is spacious and pups are welcome.

The lodge is a neat space. It's all about selling merch and beer, but it is a business and a brewery after all. Tours used to be free with free beer, but Coors Molson wants every penny. That's too bad. It is the 7th oldest operating brewery in the US. The brewery is beautiful and it's a great tour. The beer is decent for macro beer.

Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing( Leinie Lodge is the name of the tasting room of theirs here )have had in the past but it was considerable amount of time that has passed since I had their beer so I figured it was time for a refresher.
When I think about this brewery Shandy and sweet Berliner Weisse style beers pop into my head but they make other beer styles as well like IPA'S , Spritzens, Bocks and Helles style beers as well.
I went with what I normally associate with them on and got a Berry Weiss. Specifically it was a raspberry and blackberry flavor so it did indeed came in sweet.
The beer was pretty good. Just slightly passed "too sweet" but not bad.The tartness and the light body of the beer made it very manageable and drinkable. With a low ABV and not being too overwhelming in any particular way it would be easy to have a few if your mind was set towards doing so.

Sitting down to the Berry Weiss.

Being a Summer Shandy officiando all summer long, I was excited to check out the home of my favorite warm weather staple!

Easy to find, with plenty of lot parking, the outside of the space screams lodge! Upon entry, it kind of feels like a massive gift shop with everything you can imagine Leinenkugels branded. Upon further investigation, you find a large bar and plenty of seating options. We loved how it was decorated for the holiday season! Service was extraordinary and the beers were only $5 a piece!

While you can find your favorite Leinie classics, the taproom also has some other exclusives to try! Where the Leinie Lodge stands out is it's Brewology mixes. They have a curated list of different mixtures of their various beers, which gives you access to another myriad of choices! Try one or a flight...you can't go wrong!

Such a fun stop on our road trip to Milwaukee from the Cities! Will probably stop again when the weather is a bit warmer and we can enjoy some of the outdoor seating!

We stopped in to pick up our bands for the Century Ride. It is a nice place to have a pint and you can get flights, also. Large gift shop and nice taproom.
