They just did a massive revamp.. so take old reviews with a grain of salt. What I'll say is that their chicken tenders slap! Their ranch is delicious.

We hosted my son's graduation party here and the staff and food were out of this world!!! I highly recommend hosting your event here. 5 star food and service.

Best fish fry around hands down! The view from the outdoor patio is breathtaking. Consistently good food.

Would be a nice place to eat but the quality of their food is awful. Over the years they've cut corners to make more profits but they should rethink that strategy. Cooking oils are either old or miserably cheap. Pan fried walleye that we were served was fried on what we thought was old oil.

Friday fish fry was good. Waitress was very good. Hostess assistant was rude. We finished our meals and had given the waitress our payment which she delivered to the hostess to process. Before we received our receipts the assistant came over to the table and asked how soon we would be leaving and started aggressively removing our dirty dishes making it very clear that she wanted the table. Granted it was Friday night and they were backed up which they usually are but I have never been so rudely rushed out of any dining establishment. If you're looking for a place to go for a leisurely dining experience, don't go to the Lake Hallie Golf Course!

This restaurant was recommended by a couple of friends who said they had a good experience and great food especially their fish fry. Our first visit was not as good as theirs. They were half right. The food was very good not great but very good. The bar area was staffed by a very friendly and attentive lady bartender. She was lots of fun for both my wife and me. We are not bar people and don't ususally have more than one cocktail but because of the wait we did have an extra and the bartender entertained us.
The problem was the hostess told us the wait to get a table was going to be 20 to 25 minutes when in fact it was over an hour. (If we had known it was going to be that long we would have gone elsewhere) We had expected our dinner experience to last maybe 90 to 120 minutes or so. It took over 3 hours. Part of the problem is the preferrence the waitresses give to the regular customers. I completely understand that you have to take care of regulars in a timely fashion. Ignoring a new comer will not increase your business. I don't know that we will be going back anytime soon. Other than the bartender the overall service was not good.
